Home Business Tax Deduction Information

Helping you keep the money you earn

Home business tax deductions can save you money – the average home business entrepreneur can gain between $4,000 and $5,500 per year in legal tax deductions. It is your money, but you watch it fly out the window.

Many people who are striving to create an additional income working from home watch those dollar bills fly out their window without ever knowing about the legal deductions they are entitled to.

There are many ways to shut that window tight and keep those dollars within your own home, you just have to know the laws. Many CPA’s don’t know all the laws that keep your money in your pocket. You probably qualify for many of these tax deductions and you need to educate yourself and your accountant.

When you learn about some of the home based business tax deductions that are available to you, you may have to teach your own tax preparer about “home business tax law.”

When you read the book, “Home Business Tax Savings Made Easy” you will find the exact Congressional Law, the specific Article in the U.S. Tax Code or the precise Federal Ruling which specifically authorizes the home based business tax deductions.

As a matter of fact, the IRS reviewed the book, and when they finished, they did not ask for anything to be changed!

So, after you read the book, you may want to loan it to your tax preparer so they can get you all the deductions you are legally entitled to. If they don’t want to learn about home business tax law, you may want to find yourself another accountant.

We just got back from a business trip to Las Vegas… tax deductible! We met business partners, associates, peers and the leaders of our company. We spent two full days in a life changing seminar with Marshall Sylver, the “Millionaire Maker,” we ate fire, we were hypnotized and we had an awesome time!

And yes – we ate fire!

Eating fire was just one of the things we learned at the Turning Point seminar with Marshall Sylver. We learned persuasion and influence, communication, body language, gestures, hypnotic suggestion, how to use our power and be unstoppable.

The Turning Point was one of the most amazing two day events of my life. I have so many things to bring back and plug into my business, this really was a “turning point” for my business and my life.

We brought our new tax record keeping envelopes with us, kept receipts, and had a lot of fun! It’s great to have fun and conduct business at the same time! I have to say, hanging out with like-minded people is something I would like to be doing all the time.

Traveling more is part of the business plan. As soon as I can replace my husband’s income, so he no longer needs his 9 to 5 job, we plan on packing up the kids and traveling a lot more!

Our business is all about helping people make money in their own businesses using online marketing tools, so we can help lots more people if we hit the road!

While we were out in Vegas, we saw the Hoover Dam and the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Park. We enjoyed a couple of shows and plenty of great meals. And since we were always promoting and marketing out business, we saved all our receipts.

Having a home business makes traveling tax deductible — Start your home business today!

In January of 2009 I started working from home. Yesterday, I did my taxes and I am getting back $4,137 more than I would have without the home business tax deduction

How do I know the exact difference?

I did my taxes both ways… I did my taxes with the home business tax deduction and without it. And then I took it all over to my tax specialist at H&R Block so I could make sure they were done right… and they found a few more deductions that I had missed.

Because I chose to work from home in 2009, I put an extra $4,137 in my pocket at tax time. And I didn’t even keep very good records! This year, I bought a book to help me find what records to keep and some organizational tools to help me keep everything organized.

So what is holding you back from starting a home business today?

If had done my homework about the tax deductions that are available I would have started a home business a long time ago!

And if I had kept better records, I could have claimed more deductions. I used my own vehicle for many business trips, I lost receipts that I had recorded as business expenses but I couldn’t find the proof so I couldn’t deduct them… and worse than that…
